STEAM Academy Return to School
STEAM Families,
On March 15, you should have received an Infinite Campus message from STEAM Academy about the return to in-person learning. This is a follow-up to the message with more information that we have received from the high schools and the district. Please take the time to read the message with your students. It is our goal that families and students have a clear understanding of the opening of school for in-person learners. The STEAM staff, A1 high schools, and district staff have worked collectively to put together this plan for the remainder of the school year. We ask again for your flexibility as there may be some bumps in the road the first few days of school. We are STEAM Academy and we are family. We will have a successful end of the school year because we all have the same goal in mind which is to provide the best educational experience for all students, either remote or in-person.
Again, please read the plan linked below and let us know if you have any questions.
Take care of yourself and each other

STEAM Academy In-Person and Remote Learning Plan
Fayette County Public Schools and STEAM Academy are preparing to offer in-person instruction for students whose families choose to send their children back to campus and
remote instruction for families who choose to keep their children at home. While plans are being made with an eye toward January 2021, students will only return to campus if it is safe to do so.In collaboration with families and employees, each school has developed a school-specific plan in consultation with its School-Based Decision Making Council, aligned to the state’s “Guidance on Safety Expectations and Best Practices for Kentucky Schools (K-12), (Appendix A) and Fayette County Public Schools procedures.
